Who is God listening to?

I am really getting confused. I grew up in the church. My grandparents were some of the most faithful people I know. And while I have not been a regular in many years, I wonder what side of this overwhelming debate they would be on right now if they were still here with us.

I have always believed in God, but the God I felt like I know is not hellfire and damnation. The God I think I know loves everyone — regardless of race, sexual orientation, mistakes you have made, etc. The God I think I know does not want my kid or any of the other 48 million children not yet eligible for the vaccine…
